Americonscious Campfire Folk Band

MoonCats have kept the fun in North Dakota’s music scene for all ages since 2018. After countless shows and tours across the region and country, this tuned-in trio prides itself on singalong originals and an occasional cover. Using a mix of American roots instruments, Slinger, Danny, and Sky paint a picture of the plains and sing of the times. Enjoy their mix of new and old time music on banjo, washboard, upright bass, mandolin, guitar, harmonica, and more LIVE with the MoonCats!

Notable Performances:

Based out of Pick City, North Dakota, MoonCats cats have performed in 9 states and have shared bills with Pert Near Sandstone, Henhouse Prowlers, G. Love and Special Sauce, Jon Wayne and the Pain, Mark Joseph, Ben Suchy, Art Rude, Gypsyfoot and many more!

MoonCats have performed every year at the Prairie Pothole Music Festival, and have been selected for 2024 Blue Ox Music Festival in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Minnesota’s Midwest Music Fest, ND Chokecherry Festival, Greenway Festival, Mercer County Fair, Midwest Flavorfest, hosted their own festival for four years called “MoonFest”, and continue to bring their music to venues ranging from breweries, wineries, pubs, restaurants, retirement homes, street fairs and dances, outdoor gatherings, birthdays, graduations, farmers markets, memorials, weddings, workshops, and anywhere the road takes them! MoonCats will partake in 2024 Rockygrass Music Festival Band competition and continue to chase their dream and build a vision!
